Subdivide option a few times to create multiple divisions.

You will see additional options at the Material tab when you select any

object and go to Edit Mode. Right bellow your indexes selector, you will

see buttons for Assign, Select, and Deselect (Figure 5.28).

For instance, if you can create a new material and assign "Red" as

name. Pick the Diffuse BSDF as a shader and make it display a red

color. By default, a single material applies to the entire object, and you

don't have to do anything else if you only need that one material (Figure

5.29).
